Fourth of July

This Independence Day was special being back in the States.  We enjoyed time with family, and our girls had a great time with some second cousins.

Chicago, Illinois

The girl's Grammy, Papa, Uncle Brad and Uncle Darren all came together to meet downtown; we had an excellent day at the Art Institute, on a river and lake cruise, and finally at a favorite eatery -  Emilio's Tapas.  It was great to be together!

Upon arrival, we were welcomed by the girls' Grammy and Papa ... and all the stuffies that didn't make the trip to East Asia.  Lia, Val and Meg were all smiles!

Meeting Emma Hope

Back in Ohio, we were able to meet our very good friend's newest addition to their family - Emma Hope!  Mark and Erika waited a long time for this sweet little girl.  We're looking forward to watching Emma grow!

State College, Pennsylvania

We had a really nice time in State College catching up with Lori's sister's family.

Cousins ...

The time was highlighted by a nice dinner celebration of Lori's parent's 50th anniversary.  We're all so proud of them!

As a gift, we presented to them a special album full of notes and pictures from friends and family.  They loved it!

Our girls loved getting time with Grandma and Grandpa.  And I think Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed it, too.  :)
